The Matrix and the Corolla Verso have different names than that of the plain Corolla, therefore their sales are counted separately.
Just like the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado, different name plates on the same platform don't get added together to figure out their rankings in terms of sales figures.

It's just the more I read on this the worse it gets.
yes, ford did sell that many focus, but... did you know they sell 2 different versions in china? the new model and the old model(called the classic). both which are counted as focus sales.
yet in the report they also didn't count some of the chevy cruze sales. they aren't sold as the chevy cruze in australia, they are sold as the holden cruze. polk wold not count them as chevy sales.
they also list the f series as being 3rd... not f150, but f series
too many descrepancies to be believable in my book. especially when a car company is verifying
