Carbon Fiber Cargo Cover

Well, I found a pretty sweet carbon cargo cover (ZX3 and ZX5 only) that replaces the standard one.

The company is Top Shop Headliners, who, coincidentally, also offer carbon headliners for non-sunroof Foci.

The cargo cover is $200 shipped, and the headliner is $450 shipped. Both are high-quality carbon-fiber weave and add a "bling" factor to your car.

In the Customer Feedback section, there is a photo of the Focus cargo cover. I can't post the photo because the entire site is a Flash animation.

Forgot to mention that I'm contemplating purchasing the cargo cover. I'll keep you posted on the install (have to put the rubber things and the strings in).

OK, I got it, and man is it GORGEOUS!

It is now installed but we were held back a little bit because of the transfer of parts from the OEM cargo cover to the carbon-fiber cargo cover. Getting the biggest rubber pieces off proved to be the hardest, but everything else (except the pegs which snap into the plastic side panels inside the car) were easy.

Installation of the hanger strings involved Dremeling the hole wide enough to fit the plastic rings that hold the string to the cover.

We were unable to figure out how to remove the aforementioned pegs, so we left them, and grinded the carbon cover's pegs down because they were too wide to snap into the side panels.

I will snap some pictures tomorrow, and hopefully will be able to post them later.

slightly heavier, but there's no real noticeable difference. Because its carbon-fiber, and the bottom is carpeted, and it also has two metal rods glued on first, then the carpet was added over the rods for a clean look.
