jiffy lube employees are idiots

(no offense if you may be one) the ones in ANAHEIM are

those bastids! tried to sell me a cabin air filter cuz the car did not have one. tried to get me to buy a new fuel filter when i just got one 2 months ago. they ripped me off cuz i could have gone to the dealership to get my oil changed for only 5 dollars more and now i have enough oil for 2500 or less miles compared to 5000 at the dealership for 5 bux more. i think they thought i was stupid cuz i'm a chick.

Is that the way you say "bastards" in Boston, Mass?

Like Kickn said, they were just doing what they were trained to do. They do that to everyone.

Around here, they usually are kids that just want a job and know nothing about cars.
Back before I quite using them and started doing all of my own oil changes, they cross threaded the drain plug on two different cars.

It's pretty easy to read between the lines: The owners manual states that you can go 5,000 between changes, the Jiffy Lube is probably not up to date on the new owners manual and put a static cling in the window giving a next change mileage of 3,000 later. Standard issue!

You are too kind. She wrote: "they ripped me off cuz i could have gone to the dealership to get my oil changed for only 5 dollars more and now i have enough oil for 2500 or less miles compared to 5000 at the dealership for 5 bux more."

I have not seen a smiley there. :-) And, no, I do not think she's "stupid cuz" she's "a chick". :-)

I'm still confused.

Plus, you should have had them put the cabin air filter in if the price was reasonable. Its really hard on the PZEVs. My hand is still all cut up from the cowl cover.
