Don't be affraid!

I have been reading a lot of the past posts and have noticed that there seem to be a lot of people who ask a question and then comment on feeling stupid. You shouldn't be affraid to ask any questions on here. There are some who will poke at ya a little but there are also many competent and well informed people here.

Don't be affraid. The stupid questions are the ones that are never asked.

How about this, on this thread, ask any question you may have about any of the Focus models. I am sure there will be plenty of people who can give you an answer. I will start.

What is the stock Compression ration on the ZETEC 2.0 motor?

I have seen that too but, if they don't ask the question, they won't find out the answer. I say just ignore the people who have issues with what they feel are stupid questions. Since I bet they have an S load of questions and are waiting for someone else to ask.

Ok, here goes. How exactly does the clutch work? I understand the practical application, being that I drive a manual every day. I would like to know the mechanics of what is going on in my transmission and engine when I push and/or release the clutch. Anyone that can shed some light on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
