Black and Blue Ford emblem? (No chrome?)

I'd like to switch out the emblem on the front of my Focus. I'd really like to find a Blue emblem with Black instead of chrome for the surround and "Ford." Anyone seen anything like this, know where I might find one, or have pics of their own custom emblem? Thanks

Yes, I did this. What I suggest is for test, simply run some 1/2 wide electrical tape around the outside chrome. It takes some fiddling but you can stretch it smoothly. I liked the look and decided to paint the chrome. How to >> Dismount your emblem (front only. no idea how the back one comes off. note I have an 07)). now feel with a fingernail that there is a small ridge between the chrome surround and the emblem center. Carefully sand the outside chrome shell (I used 320 grit) to give the adhesion promoter some tooth to grip to (I used dupli-color as it was on the shelf). Now place strips of painters tape over the emblem with overlap onto the chrome, and again, using your fingernail, trace that ridge leaving a def crease in the painters tape. Follow the crease now with a fresh exacto blade to cut the tape leaving only the center covered. Spray with adhesion promoter. I then painted with rust-oleum satin black protective spray (what I used for the grill so for me a great match). Let dry at least 24 hours before handling. Note: I placed the emblem in a 3" vice, covered in newspaper to hold the emblem during spraying and drying. Little late atm. but will try to grab a pic soon-ish (working crazy hours!).

Awesome. Thanks a lot Soco. That sounds like it would work perfectly. If you get a chance, I'd like to see a pic to see how it came out. Can't really make it out on you avatar. Thanks again.

Ok. 2 pics (not good ones however. That is beyond my abilities apparently).
NOTES: The outer chrome is painted black. The center ford logo is NOT. It's the camera or me. Just don't be mislead by the appearance in that regard.
The overall effect is to visually shrink the emblem by about 30%.

A vinyl overlay might work out. I have a black and white one and it looks great. TFB Designs are used by a lot guys here. Cost me 25 bucks for front, back and steering wheel emblems.

Does the vinyl overlay cover the outer chrome?

That is a great link. Although I would be a bit paranoid about sanding the emblem itself (vicious rumors about them breaking) considering the cost and difficulty to replace (Ford does not sell the emblem by itself). How does the rear on come off?
