Dear Chryslers, you still suck

So a bit of rant and rave on a Chrysler product.

Here's a few interesting things...

If you disconnect the battery on a Chrysler product the engine light will come on.

If you jump start a Chrysler product the engine light will come on.

If you have the MyGig system and you jump start a Chrysler product you will blow your MyGig system have to order a new system.

To avoid blowing your stereo you have to remove the fuse prior to jump starting...Seriously wtf..

I won't ask you to take it back, 'cause I'm guessing you speak of newer Chryslers and not the boosted variants from the Eighties.
I'm helping build a GLHS Omni... no electronics (other than PCMs and the like) in that beast, just an obscene number of ponies and a lack of lb's... Do your ego a favor and never get frisky with one of those!
... they also snuck that engine into Daytonas, Lebarons, and friggin' Caravans!

Even new they break down. saw one along the side of the highway today...window stickers and all. Obviously was being test driven.
Have an odd feeling it didn't sell when they had to get a ride back to the dealer

The ammount of issues a Chrysler product has upon delivery is just stupid...

Here's a cold hard fact, I sell more ford products then I do Chrysler, yet the majority of Warranty claims (about 75%) are CHRYSLER PRODUCTS. I have a Fusion sitting on my lot, it's been sitting there for about 5 months now, I can walk out there hook up the battery, turn it on and drive, no idiot lights, no oil issues, nothing it just freaking works.

A Caliber...Heh you gotta take it to the service center prior to delivery to get small issues fixed and my question is, why? It's brand new...The car that caused my frustrations had 15 miles on the clock....15 MILES! Now I can understand every once in awhile you get a lemon here and there...But the fact is it's a miracle if it doesn't have an issue....

Also the only vehicle that I sold that had the front tires fall off...was a $50,000 Dodge Challenger...Yes a Chrysler product the customers wheels fell off in the parking lot outside of our delivery center. As my manager is yelling at me (this was a rather embarrassing moment for us) I go "Is it standard practice to check the lugnuts and make sure they are tight on a vehicle straight off the truck which came directly from the factory?" he kinda agreed that a car straight from the factory shouldn't be having the lugnuts falling off.

Welcome to the world of "advanced" automotive technology :)

When i do a pre delivery inspection, the wheels have to come off to remove the stupid brake rotor protectors.

After my mom had her transmission go out after 5k miles on her new car, I said I would never own one.

Not only that, I don't like the idea of buying a car from a company that only survived because of my tax money.
