100k miles

So about 2 days ago I hit the 100 thousand mile mark! I knew it was coming up but got distracted (driving lol) and looked down just in time to see I was on 100k and snapped a picture :) I'm happy to have done it but I'm concerned about what maintenance I should be doing. For one thing I'm getting terrible gas mileage on the highway. I have a 30 mile commute at 70 mph and I'm burning through gas like it's nothing with the car in 5th the whole way. Proud my car made it this far though. :)

The Dura-tec's are running a chain, no belts. Did you do a fuel filter? Clean your injector's? Plugs? How's the air filter? Other than the mileage, how it run? I know parts wear, & it tapers off, & you get use to it, thou. Like when you put new plugs in place of hi-mileage ones, & notice a difference.

Felix the cat has some good ideas. I would dump a bottle of Techron concentrate in the tank than change the fuel filter after running that thru. Change Plugs and PCV valve and check all of your vac hoses. Maybe a good time to exchange fluids, coolant, power steering etc..

Sometimes the little things make a huge difference. New plug wires can't hurt neither.
