How often for a tune-up?

Hi. I just bought a 2000 Ford Focus Kona with 43000 miles. Should I get a tune-up? What should I do to make sure the car will be in good working order. What plugs, lines, or fluids should be replaced? Thanks.

uhh. Well, really on newer cars, the only thing a tune up consists of wouldbe checking plugs. Just make sure the plugs are good and all the fluids look good.

Didn't you get a maintenance guide with the Kona?

Don't waste your time changing the plugs until at least 85k. You can change your oil, oil filter, and air filter for piece of mind. Probably time for a radiator flush too. Check your serpentine belt for cracks and wear while your at it.
