Eh, this one I'm calling BS on. With only 11 crashes out of so many cars. Quoted from another car site I go to...

"sweet, 11 crashes and one injury... lol

seriously, 11 crashes and this is a problem? I'm sure you could take any new car and find 11 cases where tires had blown out on them and caused a crash...

grasping for straws much?

also I bet its because people race their cars, wear their tires, and develop a "pull" in the front end, that "drifting out of the lane" is because they have excessive tire wear, probably on a car WITHOUT a limited slip... I mean with a fwd car with a good bit of torque and a 5-speed, you are sure to find 11 morons who didn't order theirs with a limited slip"

He's a diehard Chevy and drives an 08 Turbo Cobalt SS but I almost have to agree with him on this one.

If you can't stay in your lane when power steering goes out, you're a wuss. Come on, I understand it's a PITA, but it's not that bad...

If I am not mistaken that electronically assisted power steering only helps distribute the torque to the steering wheel but the whole set up itself is still a manual rack and pinion. When cruising at highway speeds you shouldn't have any problems. I have driven cars that didn't have power steering at all and it was only a bear to turn the wheel at a dead stop but once I started moving it was easier to turn. So many reliances upon modern technology removes the person from actually having to drive the car. But I guess the news needs another paper to throw on the fire since Toyota is already burning up.

When I took driver's ed 3/1/2 years back, I drove a 2007 Cobalt for the driver's ed car. It was the cheapest, slowest, worst driving car I've ever driven. My sister's 96 Saturn SL1 is 3 times the car lol

Fords running testing and possible recall on brakes for the Fusion/Milan Hybrid lol.

I saw this yesterday and told my girl who owns a Cobalt. Her brother has one too. Neither have experienced any issue. Non of these will dethrone Toyota as the recall king currently. They still not 100% positive its sticky mechanicals LOL.

I had a neon and a PT Cruiser.
Don't complain about a Cobalt.

Also a fat Russian instructor whose flab hung over the ebrake handle so much that I had to lift it up to release the ebrake.
