Just like the title...

I am just sitting here thinking why Europe streets are so small for that truck.
plus why they don have that in Europe LOL...

same reason i was complaining about Europe ST and RS when I was back in the state.

I have a buddy that might be getting one. If you compare side by side with an FX4 Limited, they aren't that much different in pricing.

Yes, true. Which is why buying anything other than a Raptor is extremely stupid IMO.

Ah, I have to disagree there. I've had an FX4, loaded, got it for $30k with like one incentive at the time for a $2,000 rebate or something (late 2006). A Raptor is easily running you in the low $40's, probably mid 40's once you get some options on there.

I would love to have one, but they are too expensive, imo.

Autoblog or someone did a comparison, similarly equipped, the difference was around $1,500. Yes you can get an FX4 for less, but the point is, if you get all those options anyways, you might as well get the Raptor.

My good Uncle has just bought a 2009 F-150 FX4, loaded. It's a great truck, makes me wonder why you'd get the Raptor... FX4's have some good stuff too: shocks, tires, locking diff...

No. Waste of money. Its made to go out to the desert and run it but $52,000 for that? nah. I could put $14,000 into my ranger and it would out do the raptor anyday. It would make a really nice chace truck though if you put another $7 or $8,000 into it.

I'd love to see you put 7,000 grand into a Ranger and out-run it. They ran several of these on stock motors/suspension in the BAJA this year, and they kicked tail. They are $52,000 if you fully load them with the 6.2L, they can be had for far cheaper, as I stated previously...

Because the raptor has Fox coilover on the front Fox piggyback resivoir shocks on the back about 14 inches of travel front and about 12 inches in back. FX4 has Rancho shock which are POS. Raptor has a locking diff and come with BFG all-terrains
