Question Help! 05 RSX type s or 04 MSM.

Looking at a 05 RSX type s liked it. Not totally in love with it. The guy wouldn't let me get it up in the V!....I've not driven a MazdaSpeed MX5 yet.
Anybody driven one. Or both? And yes I know ones FWD and the other RWD.
Both seem close in performance. And in price ......Open air sounds nice.. But I do live in So. IN. ..So that's only good for about 5 months....Thanks for your thoughts.

Both appear as cars you should look for in Consumer Reports. I guess it depends on what you need. To me, an MX5 is more of a second car. I would not want one for my only car because of it's cargo and passenger limitations, but I have a family. If I could afford a second car as a toy, I'd go for the MX5 because I think it would be more fun than the RSX as a fun only car. If I was looking for an all around car, I'd have to go with the RSX.

I'm of the opinion that you can't have enough cars unless you have a road travel vehicle, like a van or full size car, a run around town small car, a truck to carry stuff, and a fun car. Cars are so much better when specialized. I learned that when I got into racing- you can't have a car that is the fastest it can be, has the biggest stereo it can hold, and gets the best fuel economy at the same time. You have to make sacrifices somewhere or you'll get beat at the track, the show, and the pump.

the miata would be more fun. the acura would be more practical. decide what your needs are and react accordingly.

the K series in the RSX responds really well to mods and has a large aftermarket. not too sure on the miata, id imagine it does. One part of me would pick the miata hands down, but theres still a small part that hates convertables.

/shrug?
