2012 chevrolet spark: Buy American, not by america

Got my "car and driver" and "motor trend" mags in the mail yesterday. Today had to go #2. While achieving victory in #2, found this

Thought it was funny...

I think the car isn't bad looking. But it's not american! It's gm. I think it's funny that gm has to have korea design and build a car for them. GM can't produce something that will sell here- so they had to turn to an outsider :)

hey, whatever works, right?

Looks like a KIA Soul in a way, I don't think it will sell all that well here in the US market though.

The regular aveo, even though it had terrible ratings from crash tests; I always thought it was as plain as it gets. The facelifted versions kinda looks tacky a bit, but still retain it's shape. Though this is smaller than the aveo I would doubt that any american would be caught driving in one.... Just tossing this quotation in the air.

Yeah I have to agree with you DURATEC, it's almost as structurely sound as a garbage can. I can probably stuff myself into a plastic bin and be safer in it than I would in one of these cars...just my thoughts...

if it's anything like the chevy aveo they made..it was an unrealiable piece of junk!

i have not seen anything that chevy has made that is half way reliable in the last 10 years, the vette and the camaro are the only descently built cars they make...

Not that I'm defending that car or anything, but remember... Most people say the same thing about our cars.
