Aluminum pulleys.

I often see people advertise the weight reduction benefit of putting on an underdrive pulley. Would it be worth while to put on a same size aluminum pulleys?? It seems to me that this might have a similar effect to lightening the flywheel.
what are the advantages and disadvantages? because this seems like a mod I might consider.

you won't gain any more power, just like you won't w/ an underdrive pulley. but you should get some throttle response as its less rotating mass. so why not??
