sell or mod?

i am only 17 and when i graduate, my parents are giving me like 3 or 4 grand to do whatever i want.i still have a while before i can do this but my question is....
should i keep my 2000 white focus se with 53,000+ miles
or i was thinking about maybe getting a used zx3, svt or maybe even making payments on a brand new focus.

what you think?

ur still in HS, pay off ur car, when you graduate, if you don't go to college, then do it. If you do go to college, believe me, its nice to have a car fully paid off!! keep what you got till you graduate either HS or college

Yea, I'm with mlbbaseball on this one. It is nice to not have a car payment, but if your bankin and College isn't costing you much then I would get an SVT and have fun with that...

If it was me I would actually try to find a car someone "thought" was broken that just needs a little TLC to get running and make that your project car. It would be cheap and you would have your GO car and your daily

just leave it alone. Save your money. Cuz you will start doing theses mods and nothing will get finished for the most part. Just save your money for fun stuff or when ever u find a hottie if your already not with one, you can take her out to better places other then the collage cafe or MCD's

That's a toughy. I would say get the svt as my first option. But if you're unable to find one you like, then keep it. I love my zx3 though. That's a tough one. I guess a lot does depend on your college situation if you end up going or not and such. If you're not going then get the different car. But if you are and have to spen a lot on school, then keep it and put that money towards school. Or if you're going but don't have to pay a lot or anything for school then get the new car.
