Is there a formula to change

Hey FF, I would like to know if anyone knows the "formula" to change WHP to just BHP. Like if you have 200WHP how much would that be BHP?

IIRC WHP is about 15% less than BHP.

this varies w/ the type of drivetrain. and if i recall correctly its more like 20% loss. for RWD vehicles its different. For AWD, its like 25% or more. just varies pending type, and also, Auto or manual makes a difference. If you have 180 BHP, i would say you have 140-145 WHP.

If you just say you have 180 HP and don't specify BHP or WHP...then it is FCHP. Flux Capacitor Horse Power. It's an exact science, and there's no associated drive train loss. 180 FCHP is approximately .018 jiggawatts.

Multiply the SAE (US) HP by 1.0139 to get the Brake Horse Power (Metric standard).
