The Beginning...Of A New Era!!!

The Detriot auto show begins tomorrow...or we'll today lol. And with it and 2009 begins a new era for Ford and what I believe will be a prosperous one, possibly the most prosperous ever. This is the beginning of a new and improved Ford Motor Company and they have released its newest offerings. I'm sure you've all seen the 2010 Fusion that has been released and a few threads have been made on it, so I'll just stick with the newest of news.

The new taurus is here, and I never thought I'd say this, but if someone gave me one, I'd drive it....at least for alittle while anyway. Dayum, it looks good, both inside and out. Congrats Ford.

Ecoboost is here.....and the numbers look pretty good.

http://www.autoblog.com/2009/01/11/d...st-v6-in-flex/

Now put one in a fusion, taurus and a freaking mustang and your golden Ford.

I like it also. I think the styling will definitely help the sales. Ford is doing all the right things I believe. I still can't wait for the Focus reveal.

That Taurus is SERIOUSLY over-styled (it looks like it should be a Lincoln), but at least it's not blah. The headlights are slick, the interior has potential (I'd want to see the quality of the materials up close), and they did a nice job of making the car look low and mean (when it's not, really) from the front. I still prefer the looks of the Malibu and aging Chrysler 300 (new Buick Lacrosse, too), but all are far bigger cars than I'd ever want to own...

Damn, the Taurus is sharp! I really like it. And holy crap are those Ecoboost numbers impressive...too bad they put the motor in the Fugly Flex. Seriously, that vehicle should drop off the face of the Earth and never be spoken of again!
