I love my new car... but I hate my new Forum!

Well as some of you know I sold my SVT a few months ago and was planning on getting a 350z... well, Mission accomplished! I picked up a very low mileage 03 350z last week. I love the car, its the kind of power I have always been looking for.

Anyway... the 350z forum sucks! Everyone on there is complete A holes! If you ask a legitimate question, they give you smart ass replies making you feel like an TARD!

Heres an example... this kid asked, "I found these pics of this 350z in the gallery, I really love this car, can anyone tell me who owns it? I want to ask him questions about his wheel/suspension setup. Thanks"

First reply...
"I think your mom owns that"

Second reply...
"Why dont you do something original you fing newb!"

Anyway... just wanted to say I love my new car, but I miss you guys.. and girls! I've always said this is the best forum I've ever been part of. Keep up the good work everyone.

To hell with them guys, you still have to help you out the best we can.

And to elaborate on the topic of other forums, when I had my Talon Tsi and had questions about it, the guys over on the former DSMTalk were pretty much hit or miss over there. Ask SVT-Sage here about it. It was nothing but a bash fest on the new guys. And that was 10 yrs. ago.

I think us here at FF are sarcastic, but we all are so it doesnt faze us. I was on a VW forum for a while when i was about to trade my svt in for a gli and they were a bunch of dicks, if the cars didnt follow the same outline (slammed on BBS wheels w/ stretch tires and the right amount of poke) they didnt like you.

You cant beat the people here on

It's hard to find a good forum. I've looked at forums for information but this is one of two I actually joined because respect is a major part of it. The other forum I'm on is for drummers and its great, just like this really, just a different subject. But the members are aware of some of the other bigger forums where you really can't get the same information.

I dont know the f150 forum im a part of is pretty cool, but there isnt as much technical know how over there, although they are improving. I get a kick out of people who say stuff like you mention, ill put money on the fact they wouldnt ever take that tone with anyone face to face.

OP.....you'd think anyone who could afford to drive a Z-car would be past the pee-pants years. I guess not, or maybe they got the car as a birthday present or something.

I was a Nissan mechanic for a long time....usually Z owners were older, but all were real picky. Tells you something.....

I am actually on quite a few forums here at work. There are alot of pretty cool ones out there, but i have noticed that alot of the foreign car ones are full of dicks. Horsepowerjunkies is pretty cool, as is carolinarides. TCCOA is a taurus club and theyer pretty cool. But FF is by far the best that im on, especially considering the amount of people that are on here everyday. This is one big reason that i dont care anything about being on Focal Jet, evertime i read posts over there, i get the impression that alot of them think theyre better than anyone else. They do bash newb's from time to time for no reason. Maybe thats why we here at FF have a much better reputation than they do. Dont take me wrong you guys that are on FJ, some of you are still cool, just for the most part, dont like that attitude over there.

someforums definatley are not that same as FF. i dont mind FJ so much, there is alot of good info there, as well as here. I also freqent both for sale forums. this is why im on the forums, for info. I have tried some other forums (for my parents cars) and just cant find the same quality info.

also i really prefer the one model forum (focus) as opposed to one marque forums where all the info is diluted down due to too many models and generations (Ex VW vortex)
