Stock turbo charge musting?

i talk to a ford sells rep.
he said 2010, there will be quite a lot redesign cars...
and like 2012 USA require all the car has 35mpg highway...
so all fords cars are going to be turbo charged including musting...
what do you guys know about that!!

My understanding was that it made manufactors have an average of 35MPG with there cars.. MayBe Im Wrong... Another Retarded Bill though..

their adding turbos but their also reducing the size of the engine.
there is also talk of a diesel f150 that im pretty sure they are making

Thats more likely. Its not all cars that have to have 35mpg, but a CAFE average. And even that sounds like a stretch.

There was talk of an EcoBoost I-4 or V-6 Mustang (like a modern version of a SVO Mustang from the 80s), but last I heard, that idea got canned.

The 35 MPG was by 2020, at the moment... And yes, it was a CAFE average. The turbo v6 is going in the taurus first, I believe.
