exhaust or new tailpipe

i have a question, i can get a brand new exhaust and get the same amount of horse power as i would if i just brought a new chromed tailpipe with the new tornado thing they just came out with. which should i do ?

Well to answer your question, an exhaust will actually give you power gains (different I believe based on what engine you have). The "turbo tornado" is on a couple of members' cars here and doesn't seem to do anything at all. Same goes for those exhaust tips you see around in stores, they dress up the stock exhuast pipe, but will not give you ANY hosepower. If you have the money, go for an exhaust, it will give you what you seem to be looking for.

If you want to know about the "Turbo Tornado" thing, GonFishin' has it on his car I believe. You can PM him or send him an email since I don't think he's on here all the time anymore.

And if you want any kinda gains, you should buy a cat-back. Not a lot but you will notice a difference in sound. :)
