apexi ws exhaust for focus

I got my apexi ws2 system and picked it up. When I opened the box i found the actual description and picture was different from what i got. It's still an apexi ws2 system for the focus (hatch) but i wanted that stainless steel muffler at the end and not just the ss tip and the muffler in the middle.

Here's the pictures side by side comparison. Read the description and look at what I got and tell me if you think i have a fair case of misleading description/product not as advertised - maybe i can get an exchange or a refund? As you can see in my picture, there's no stainless steel "signature" apexi muffler....it's just a ss 4" tip.

Any suggestions?

my guess is you won't becuase that is the generic description of their apexi system. the muffler in the catback is their signature muffler (whatever that means) but everything bolts up in the stock lcation, to make it fit easier.

the stock focus has a muffler at the end too (we refer to it as the lunchbox). So couldn't the apexi signature muffler fit in that space?

Why are most focus performance exhaust kits have the muffler hidden in the undercarriage and not on the end/tip like most other cars?

because the focus is eorupean designed. and msot people associate a sport muffler on the end with rice. so they don't typically buy it. it's a marketing thing, and it's proabably cheaper to male a cat back like this where the muffler itself don't need to be polished (read: expensive). i say put it on anyway, it's definitly better than factory. and the nice tip should give you a clean stealthy look.
