How does a Focus Match up to a Civic

I was wondering how closely matched a Focus and a Civic are matched. Reason why is becusae my friend believes that a civic could blow a focus out of the water. Some input?

Most likely than its an SI or has an engine swap, youll get your ass handed to you stock. With all the bolt-ons (intake, udp, 65mm TB, header, exhaust) you should be even or faster than him stock. With the bolt-ons and cam gears and stage 2 cams youll beat him hands down unless he's modded about the same as you minus the cams.

Lets face it. EVERY civic owner is going to say that. Its just a simple fact. And heres another fact. CIVICS ARE FREAKin SLOWWWWWWWWWWWW GEEZ. Yes they are reliable. But stock they are slow. Even with some mods. There still slow. You do have to watch out for the older si's though. With mods they are quick. But the new ones. Blah they suck ass. And about that honda with the dohc. You will still kick the crap out of it.

And you gotta watch out for the engine swappers to. Some civics can be fast and ill give props to the guys out there that are your true civic "tuners". Rest assure though. Theres more show than go out there with civics.....
