In the ZX3, how do you put the spare tire donut away correctly?

In the ZX3,

How do you get the jack and spare tire donut back into it's storage area correctly? The spare tire has a plastic capped screw down, that's easy to figure out, but how is the jack stored? The jack also has a screw down, but how is it placed?...it doesn't quite fit under the spare. There is a hole on the jack handle that the screw down goes through, but can't figure out the configuration.

any help will be much appreciated.

Adjust the jack until it is diamond shaped. The bar you use to wind the jack up should have a washer welded on that you line up with the hole in the bottom. When you place the tire in, around the jack, the plastic capped screw should fit inside the washer then the hole in the bottom.

It took me forever and a day to get my spare in correctly, it took me some time to align the hole where U screw in the the tire.

never seen it done the way focushacks has it.
mine has 2 screws. one for the jack and one for the tire. place jack as they show except use hole furthest to the right, secure jack down.
place in tire and use hole on left to secure it

Reply and photos were great. Exactly what I needed. I figured the washer needed to be lined up, but assumed that the jack would need to be in the closed position.
