depending on what you have powdercoated, it may help it last a bit longer, prevent rust, etc.

Powdercoat is more durable than paint if done properly. But costs a bunch more too.

deffinatly I would love to have a few things done esp. my rims, hhhmmm black powder rims with the little chrome SVT badge. sweet

Oh and when the powder coat is set, the coat it self is almost bullet proof
