Fat Ass?

Anyone know why all the US spec foci have a really wide rear bumper? Seems to stick out like a foot from the tailgate, also do u guys prefer that styling or the euro? discuss..

It's because we have 5 mph bumpers here instead of 3 mph. Stricter crash regulations and stuff. I'm not sure which I prefer, the Euros look sexy most of the time but there are some I don't really like. I think I pulled off my big nasty bumpers pretty well for now, the lip kit does wonders.

yeah. it sticks out further cause of the crash rating. hasta be 5mph instead of 3. and id prefer the euro.

Eh, I dig the euro bumpers, partly because they're just different, partly because the shorter overhangs dont interrupt the body lines as much.

i do believe if they made them with the euro bumpers here in the US they wouldn't pass some of the crash tests... i love the euro bumpers... when i get my body kit i'm getting euro kit
