s2000 or f/i?

i saw a honda s2000 the other day and it got me to thinkin...i am now at a fork in the road. one way, i will f/i my focus and build it up, the other way i will buy a s2000. if i trade in my focus i will get like 4k for it so i will end up payin like 13k for the s2000, and if i keep the focus i will be putting like 5-6k this summer. i really like the honda s2000 and i think they are dead sexy, i just cant decide between them

S2K's are really nice and have more potential I think, but they are way nice just stock as well. That would be a tough choice.

S2000. I love that car. My buddy had one painted M3 blue and it was amazing. Insurance might suck, upkeep will be more, you'll lose space but damn it is awesome. If you gonna dump5-6k this summer on the focus, save it and pay off the s2000. You will not be sorry.

Do you have a second vehicle? Even if you're single with small needs, you'll probably be pinched sometimes owning a 2 seater with that little cargo room. That said, you only live once, and money does serve to buy thing you want. Its a personal choice, I wouldnt be able to though unless I had something else as a runabout.

Space would be a problem, I have been in one and there isn't much of it. But they do have loads of potenial.

Its a 2 seater RWD, thats awsome.

your cars old, how many miles do you have on it, how much longer is it going to last, and will you be happy till the end. Those are some things to consider. If i were you, i would not dump that kinda money into my car, i'd save up and buy a newer car...s2000, or some other car.

That all depends on the weight of a car. An S2000 is a very light car, and it moves well. I love driving S2000's, one of the last sports cars available on the market here in the usa (others being the MX5 and the Solstice, and no vettes and the like are not sports cars, the vette is a GT car). A focus could never match an S2000 in a road race. Even if you modded the focus to have more power, you may be able to match it in corners, but the lack of traction would kill you.
