Upgraded From 2002 Zx3 To 2004 Svt

HEY- I JUST WANTED TO SAY I AM NEW TO THE FORUM. I JUST RECENTLY TRADED MY RED 2002 ZX3 FOR A 2004 SVT 3 DOOR. NOW MY NEXT JOB IS TO MODIFY THE CAR BUT NOTHING WHERE IT WILL TAMPER WITH VOIDING THE WARRANTY. I WILL BE ORDERING AEM SHORT RAM INTAKE. ALSO IN THE WORKS IS THE STEEDA TRI-AX SHORT THROW, THROTTLE BODY, PULLIES. WILL THESE ITEMS VOID THE FORD WARRANTY? ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS?

First off, welcome to FF. Second STOP YELLING And third I think that even the AEM Short Ram will void the warranty.

Yes same story, but only of it's linked to be the root cause of the problem. BTW congrats on the new car and welcome.

Just some advice, skip the AEM and get the Steeda short ram for the SVTF.

my suggestion is to either find a "mod friendly" dealer or just not mod your car if you're concerned about warranty

also, insurance companies are starting to ask questions - i had to explicitly state my car had no mods for geico

btw - whch dealer did you buy from? i'm looking into an svt myself

Welcome Mike. Be prepared to hear people on various threads talking smack about the SVT now and again. Thanks for turning off the caps lock key.
