2000 ZX3 Hatchback

Hello all, I will likely be buying my friend's brother's Focus as my first car! Is there anything I will need to know about this model, and/or any possible modifications such as wheels, rims, possibly dropping, and of course a sound system ( I think Crutchfield.com can help me with that plenty ) Now I know this will take time, and money, but I'd like to know my options.

You've come to the right place and welcome! Just click on the Member's FAQ's in the forum area. You'll find plenty of data and a bunch of how-to's listed there. If all else fails, just ask, you'll get pointed in the right direction!

Welcome to the Focus world. There are quite a few people on here that have helped me through all my frustrations.

Just looked at it, it has a new intercooler, 8-10" LCD Screen in between the visors that can be connected to anything, audio sys. w/ subs, aaand 17 or 18 inch rims. His bro was sleeping at the time so I need to talk to him later in the week and get a more detailed look at the Focus.

Oh Snap! I guess I won't be getting a Focus. Yes it's true, thank you all for your help anyways! My dad called from Iraq today, and said just to wait, so he will help me get a VW Golf or GTI. *Slobber* I guess I"ll be looking for a Golf lovers Forum now....

I don't know about the US, but here in AUS there's Golfs EVERYWHERE. They're the German equivalent of a Toyota Corolla, well built, very reliable, but completely uninteresting now because so many people have them. They're also expensive, the GTi especially. I can't speak for the whole world, but the Focus feels alot more individual here

Where I live, you could call the "South" of the US. There are more Fords and Chevys than anyone needs. So a VW would definitely stand out.
