alot of the work the previous owner had carried out. He pretty much stripped the car out fully, fitted coilovers, decent brakes and tyres, and mounted an oil cooler.
I've done a few bits and bobs during my ownership.

I had a multipoint cage welded in last weekend ready for my next track day in April. The attached image is how it stands now with my wet weather wheels on. The black ones are my semi slicks

I guess it's just one of those things you get used to......at least the pedals are in the same order :P

It's a bit of a shame that the SVT/ST170 was never really messed around with over here. There are very limited aftermarket parts available :(

Odd, much avail. here though little for the engine in N/A configuration since most aftermarket changes common are included stock on that model.

Actually, I've seen a number from over there get remote tuning from our favorite tuner - hear that is hard to acquire for you. Focus Power will ship the SCT tuner world wide and remote tuning is the same regardless of location.

Did try RHD here and it didn't feel too weird, large advantage when switching sides to still be dealing with the traffic laws you are used to.

The actual tuning isn't really much of an issue. There are a lot of high quality tuners all over the country, it's just the supporting modifications that are required which are minimal.
My original plan was to aim for 200 n/a, that idea was soon changed when I discovered the powerworks supercharger, which was then changed when I realised they're as rare as hens teeth.

The eventual plan is some form of turbo install over the winter period of this year.

Pics attached. The car is pretty much standard engine wise
It has a custom aem style intake, and the cat has been knocked out.
I've also recently fitted a direnza flexi back system which seems to of let the engine breath better higher up the revs.

I'm mainly trying to concentrate on handling at the moment. The next upgrade will be polybushes
