2012 tuxedo black

Okay, so a little about me first.

I love messing with cars. my dad and I build a 68 GTO, 52 chevy coupe, and I rebuilt a 96 honda accord. Cars are my passion when it comes to my off time. I am a college student and barista. I work full time and go to school full time so I don't have a lot of time to do stuff to my cars.

Right now I am building my Focus. I don't intend to do too many drastic things to it just yet. (I haven't even owned it a full month or paid a single payment! it can slowly build)

Currently I have a 2013 ford focus hatchback with the 201a and appearance package with a 5spd manual. This is the model I had been looking at for three years and finally got financing situated to purchase my own. Extremely happy with it.

My main goal is to do some work and find a crashed ST with some upgrade parts intact. Thinking suspension, nav system, front bumper/rear spoiler, and some other extras. (I'm not sure on seats as I already have electric leather buckets in the car)

The car is, as of right now, bone stock. The only thing I have done to it is tint the windows and that was done today.
day 1, march 13

Tint done today, though I might have to get it redone due to it being too dark.

Expect many photos and more long winded posts. I will be asking lots and lots of questions, so be warned.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, those wheels were important. I despise the other variations available on the SE version. The dealer tried to say "they are just rims. Go and buy something better after you buy it." That isn't the point. If it is offered with them, I wanted it. No sense on spending another 2k on rims and tires of you don't have to right away!!

Here is a picture of it for a reference to the tint shade. I'm still a little worried about being pulled over for it. (I've been driving for 5 years and no citations or moving violations...I want to keep it that way for as long as possible!!)

Alright...so I was looking around a few days ago for a good deal on a salvaged ST around the country...and I stublmbled across a small auction location locally listing a rolled 14' st with all the crap I wanted. There isn't even one bidder on it with no minimum bid. It ends the 3rd. I am taking my dad over to the auction yard to inspect it tomorrow before work and hopefully bring it home(or rather to a rental parking lot seeing as I already have 5 vehicles in my garage/driveway).

I want bumpers, side skirts, dash, sony stereo, recaro seats, and possibly engine/trans/ecu all electronics for engine management if it is salvageable.

And I said no upgrades until after the first payment earlier... LOL

I definitely will if I purchase it!

Does anyone know if the automatic A/C controls are compatible/plug and play with the manual version? Mine is the simplified version (4 speed fan, variable temperature [one zone not duel] and directional knobs). The one in this particular car has the electronic version and that would be nice to swap over too... I'll do some searching on that.

I dont think anyone has done it yet but i know The guys at rebeldevil were looking into it. I dont think it would be a direct swap because of the dual zone system.

Well the bidding was nonexistent until I bid on it, of course. it went from $200 to $2.5k very quickly. For a completely totaled roll over idk what the guys wanted with it. It wasn't anywhere near worth that to me. I stopped and left. Another time.
