Argh after having done the wheels...found a bubble on the sidewall of one of the continue DW tires. Gotta get two to replace one.

Bummer but better than a blow out, right?

The front end of MK1's always looks really loose, like all the gaps are uneven. The lines of the design hit the body panel gaps in such a way that they look bigger than they are. It's not a "bad" thing, it's just how MK1's are.

The idea of an MK1 with a D23 is pretty rad though. I like my MK1.5 ST D23 well enough.

I just met a guy at my work's parking garage who drives a D20 sedan and he was talking about wishing he had the D23. I agree, the car is way more enjoyable from torque to power delivery.

Tasteful mods and suspension stuff makes the car more livable otherwise.
