Its going to be fast!
So I have always wanted to boost my 04 Zx5 SVT but did not want to blow the 10 year old engine that is unfit to handle any amount of boost. It being my daily driver thatís the last thing I want. I recently scored a second Svt engine which needs allot of love that Iím going to be building to handle boost, I want to safely run 300whp. I have never built an engine so this is a learning process for me. My main goal right now is to dismantle it and start piecing together the engine. Iím sure Iíll be asking an assortment of questions regarding the build but grab a seat cause this will get interesting. This is a picture of my car which will be receiving the heart transplant once itís finished.

And this is the heart of what will become a beast!

Well this is all I have for now. Thanks for reading!

also id recommend ditching the intake and going with a top speed design, its only a matter of time before you suck in the upper intake gaskets into th ehead

I plan on selling it soon to make back some money for the cost of the motor. But i like the eagle rods they look mad beefy not to sure on the pistons or the compression i want to run on it.

Well how is this for an update? I found a second svt motor with the transmission for another great deal! I think I’ve got plenty of parts to build my engine and now my transmission! Cant wait to get started on the rebuild.
