It is vital to have a frontstage with headroom.

wow very nice, are you rerunning all speaker wire or using existing factory wire?

All brand new wire has been run. None of the factory wire is being used, with the exception of power and ground through the radio harness. The car consists of roughly 160 feet of 16gauge for the speakers wires and 10 feet of 12gauge for the subwoofer. There is a lot of speaker wire because the front stage are three-way components and because the crossovers for them are being mounted in the hatch area.

The whole system is wired right now and is playing very nicely. The only thing that we might change is one of the amps. I'm thinking about going with double the power on the front stage. Mosconi makes an amp that is 200Watts x 4 that we are thinking will do what we want them to do. Should be cause that will be 800Watts of power just on my front speakers. A couple of problems might get in the way though. The amp is twice the size and draws twice the current. We should be testing it out tomorrow to see how well the car holds up and sounds. If its good the custom floor will be reconfigured.

I was pretty convinced before opening this thread that it would be a 'I installed 4 18"'s to complement my OEM door speakers!' kind of build. Your work reeks of professionalism and has helped me regain faith that there are still people that strive to pay attention to detail. Great accent with the lighting.

Very inspiring to see such a professional build-consider me subscribed
