COB License plate LEDs
So a buddy of mine is a bit of an LED whore and he ordered up a "new" style of LED. They're called COB LEDs. Both of us haven't seen them before so we're figuring they're one of the newest styles out.
So as you can see I have a 42 draft designs 14.5v license plate LED and two new COB LEDs around it. The green panel on the COB is what produces the light...all of it. And I'm thinking they should last a lot longer than the standard 12v license plate LEDs because of that huge heat sink on the back of them. Anyway I ramble on. Here's what they look like on the car.

That is REALLY bright. Too bright for me... do you like it?

I like them but I just installed them so I'll probably like them until I get pulled over for "underglow". They're like twice as bright as my 42 draft designs.

Wow, that is bright, do you have a link to them and do they offer any other sizes?????

Dukttape 12-23-2012 10:43 PM

My buddy found them on eBay. So I unfortunately don't know.

I have the 42 draft design ones as well and wish they were brighter. I like these alot. Find out from your buddy who on ebay he got them from and let us know.

Couldn't you just look for the same design on Ebay? I've seen these before, I didn't think they would be that bright but boy oh boy I must be wrong lol
