You know, it's funny but when I first saw pics of Blue Candy, I didn't initially like it very much. Being a photographer and such, I should have known a bit better than to judge a color by how it gets mauled by the digital image cycle, so when I saw it I was really taken aback by just how gorgeous a color it is. It's grown on me a lot since.

Very nice. :D

The Thule Aeroblades are really amazing, actually. Dead silent. My only qualm is that I had to do some tweaking to Thule's measurements to get things to fit just right.

I previously had a regular Yakima rack with a full fairing mounted on here that I had brought over from my last car, but I couldn't keep it from either damaging the paint or sliding backwards with a bike on it. Thule has a rubber coating on their fit kit clips whereas Yakima only has a vinyl sticker. Also, the Thule footpads don't disintegrate like Yakima's clear silicone footpads do over time.

If I didn't get candy red I would've gotten blue;nice car and I like the wheels.
I've got several upgrades coming over the next 2 weeks then I will reveal a much edgier looking car since I don't want to look like the Focus next to me at a light.

Hmm. Thanks for the input. I may have to reconsider, but the flush ends on the Whispbars looks so good! I wouldn't be using a fairing if I end up with this rack. I've seen the Whispbars up close off the car and the footpads appeared to be black rubber of some sore. I didn't even think about the clips though... I guess I have time to figure it out what to go with.

Curbed a wheel today... and I'm someone who doesn't do that. Caught a bit of curb that was leaning out from the rest of the curb.

Replacement wheel is on its way. Easy way to lose $200 in the blink of an eye.

I almost curbed a wheel yesterday. Caught it just in time to yell and yank the wheel away. Damn thing really snuck up on me. Confused the hell out of my gf, but she totally understood after the explanation.
You may be out the cash, but I'm hurting inside also. I think you have the best wheel/vehicle/stance package of all the 2012's right now.
