the boot on the ebrakes on the bottom its clipped on. You gotta remove the center console thingy lol

It's a similar set up to the shift boot. The front (side nearest the shifter) is snapped in while the back slips into a groove. To get it out, squeeze the middle of the boot and lift out the front, than slide the back out and pull it over the handle. It's not to bad.

I've never had to remove anything but I don't have the center console so you could be right.

svts dont have a center console? And I removed mine because Im starting the 5spd swap as soon as I can gather all the parts.

Today's projects: Carpeted the Subwoofer box and did some more work on the rear area container (I can't figure out what to call it yet).



The cover was originally on piece but I cut it into two parts so the woofer can sit on one side of the hatch area and I can still open up a door. I also added part of the bottom.



BTW. My roof is back to blue. I haven't decided if I want to take it back to black, but if so, I really needed to redo it much better than the first time.

its called a false floor, if your talking about the floor storage

ive built one thats on sliders, and ive also built an amp mount on the right side, next i wanna build another side piece where i can put some tools into it

your build is looking good though
