^ NO, only ones with metal sleeves. You just need a good vice.

Man...you got those in with only a vice? lol, you should have seen us when we installed those using a press!

So I take it you won't be taking this thing to any tracks soon, so you have all winter season to get her nice and perfected

The first time this will see a track will be next spring. I'm hoping to have the shell in for paint by November, then I can piece it back together.

The bushings for the trailing arms went right in with the vice. However anything with a metal bushing so far has been a pain in the A$$ even with the press. The biggest problem has been the bushings are way stronger then the actual arms. I actually wish they would allow you to use the standard metal bushings so that you could just replace the rubber and the internal metal bushing.

Just decided I will be using carbon door cards when I can locate them again. This will alow me to weld the cage in now which will make for a cleaner finish.

This means I will probably be selling my suede doorcards

Ordered Sparco bases, hardware and sliders

I will also be ordering 2 sabelt 6pt 3" harnesses

Undecided on seats yet as I am looking for a used set that can be reupholsterd (omp grip or wrc, new sparco evo, cobra suzuka) Found a set of suzuka's last winter and passed up on them all that needed to be done to replicate the rs standard seats was to redo the center cushion (leather outer was already done!)

Made some more progress on my car as I finally pulled my rear quarter windows out. I started with guitar string which did not work out so well. I did however find the size I liked from this. .013 Piano wire. The second window only took me 10-15min to remove!

Here is the tool I made with two dowls, running it through the hole three times and wrapping it around:

After the windows were out I cleaned off the sealant and started drilling out the spot welds:

I need to bring home my quarters tonight so I know where to cut and which welds to remove.

I have also been in contact with both Cobra and Status racing seats and they are working out quotes for me on custom seats to match the factory RS versions. It sounds like the cost might be a bit high but as long as I have been doing the footwork I might make the investment as I think it will be worth it. Otherwise the way it looks right now I might be picking up a set of Sparco Corsa's.

Found another pic of the roof vent I was looking at as I'm still thinking of gettting rid of my ac:

Opinions?

I also have my eye on another one

both are functional with adjustable vents on the interior, right now i'm waiting on the shipping quotes and more pics on the second one.
