^^^it kind of depends, it's easy pc to pull someone over. Would only do it to initiate a traffic stop if I felt suspicious about the vehicle for instance.

30% tint
40% tint

Just wondering what most officers look for before I break the law

**I would also get pulled over as soon as I left my driveway if my car looked like that**
Where I live in Ohio it is 50%. Though, I see tons of cars with at least 35%. I also have tinted tails and no front plate and have not been stopped once. I never really understood the front plate. With as close as you have to be to read it. It seems quite useless.

It's all officer discretion well at least in my agency it is. Front plates help me out when I'm working traffic. Majority of the times I use that front plate to run them while at stop lights. Also use them to verify with the back plate and if the car is in a bad accident From the rear and the plate can't be read the front is really helpful. You'll be surprised how many ppl rob vehicles and only change the rear plate so the front plate helps there to. Front plate is also really easy pc For me to make a stop. Small stop like that with no front plates generally in my beat ends up in city warrants, no DL, no insurance, DWIs and so on.

honestly i wish these auto makers would make the front plate more appealing on our cars they stick out like a sore thumb lol and the rear plate is not to bad maybe if they would allow euro plates to be legal as a front plate i would deff use that lol

^American Muscle makes a motorized unit that folds the plate back. I've been thinking of getting one and figuring a way to make it work.
