The battery in the ZX3 is an Optima. It doesn't fit right and Optimas are crap anyway.

That's exactly why I got it. I have some plans to make the intake even better like a silicone connector hose to the TB, bigger filter, and possibly redoing the box in aluminum so it can be powdercoated black on the outside, and thermally insulated inside.

Nice. I'm currently back to running the stock box. I've got a 3" MAF tube w/silicone connectors ready to go on (to make tuning w/PRP easier), just have to sort out how to attach that to the stock box.

For now it is on hold until decide what to do. I will either

(a) fab an intake box similar to the FC box, but from aluminum, using parts from a FS Cool-Flo

or

(b) epoxy a 3" aluminum fitting into the stock box

I'm leaning towards (a)

Oh yeah, I also have a spare OEM hood that I could easily chop up to add an inlet... Then fund painting it by selling off my CF hood... But, err... unless you get AMAZING results, which you might, I think I'll stick with the CF hood.
