2005 focus St Speed limiter

I was wondering if there is any sensors I can by pass or unplug to shut off the speed limiter. Or does the computer have to be reprogrammed ? Can anyone help me with this please? Thanks !

RPM & Speed limiters can only be changed with a "Tune", reprogramming of the system.

Suppose with a manual trans. unplugging the speed sensor might work, but you lose that reading entirely. Automatics require input/output sensors for normal operation.

And to add, remember to only drive at those speeds where allowed.

Moved this to "Focus Tuning Chat" so you can get this sorted. Also, we do not allow members to discuss excessive speeding on public roadways.

I don't plan on doing any excessive speeds esspeically not in public roads. I plan on doing some up upgrades before driving it any amount of speed at either the drag strip or road course. I was just curious if it could be done I don't plan on doing and was wondering what upgrades would be good to for my '05 St ? Anyone can help let me know ?

No any any specific order (though Header should be after a tune)
Balance Shaft Delete <---- Do this first, its cheap (30$) and is the best bang for your buck
Intake <---steeda or FSwerks
Tune
Header
Big Brake Kit (SVT kit bolts right up)
Suspension
Tires

After all that
