that's all the paper work states. I will look to see a fuse is blown, does anyone know were the fuse would be? I will also try to hook up my SCT flash, I am assuming if this is powered when I plug it in that the power is there.

Thanks for all your help thus far, hopefully I can figure this out and not have to bring to dealer.

That is typically when the battery has been unhooked recently or codes cleared & the car hasn't been driven enough for all the systems to go thru their cycles & tests.

No "check engine" light, but not all systems tested & checked off in the computer as "OK" yet.

OK, fuses are good and SCT does power up on vehicle power. I can communicate thru SCT tuner to get vehicle information such as Vin # and current strategy that is installed on car. I tried to data link and monitor and it comes back "invalid" were the data should be. I see the counter on the to running so I assume it is doing what it should but with not results. Not sure if I am doing this right?

Sounds like there IS a communication problem.

If it's Tom's tune give him a call/msg. to see if he can help, if not chk. back here for other ideas.

That sounds more realistic.

Is there a log file on the tuner?
Doesn't sound like there is.

SCT Datalogging 101 - Downloadable Datalog List & How-To
Download the zetec list, load it to the flasher and try to log.
Or load PID's through LiveLink. Doesn't matter what you load. You're just seeing if anything logs.

If he can pull up the VIN through the OBD2 port then he is communicating with the ECU , I would contact why did the dest and find out exactly why it failed , if they say a communication issue take your SCT to show then you can communicate and the issue is on there end

I dont think it was a communication error tho

Tom
