Looking for a 2003 focus SE Ecu

I'm looking for a 2003 focus Se sedan 2.0 zetec manual transmission Ecu.

I"m doing a swap from a spi to a dohc and I was trying to figure out what Ecu module will work for my application I know the 2003 Se car has the same body but different engine and harness. From my current car wich is a 2003 manual transmission LX sedan with the sohc engine. The ford dealer is no help they wouldn't help me without the Vin #. I request the vin # from the wreckers but so far no luck.

Does anyone know what module # I can use that came with the SE manual transmission Dohc sedan? The wreckers did send me the engines Ecu but it's out of a 2002 zx3 Module # LFQ1. So I don't know what can be comparable for the 2003 se model

Well in advance

Thanks.

2000 - 2003 was about all the same , so you can do what ever ECU you choose and wiring they all should work

For the 2003 Se manual transmission car What Ecu module #s did it use ?

I noticed for that year there were 3 Ecu's used from the Orielly's autoparts store web side but I don't know what each one means.

ECU MODULE #'s FROM THE ORIELLY'S AUTO PARTS STORE.

1. LBO-210
2. LP2-323
3. LP2-324

THANKS

In Advance .

I could be wrong here but, I really don't think you need to swap ECU's. You will need a tune that adjusts a few things simply because the zetec and SPI emissions equipment operates in different ways/times/voltages. The basic wiring is the same though, ignition, fuel injectors, O2 sensors,,, most of the major stuff is the same wiring/ECU pinout.

Plus keeping your ECU negates the need to deal with the PATS BS.

Pretty sure the SPI's ECU won't work the Zetec motor. Can't remember the differences to save my life right now, but I'm pretty sure it won't work.

I'd bet you just need to adjust some of the Crank Sensor stuff (PIP) and it'll work. IIRC the SPI uses a tone ring on the dampener (like the duratec) while the zetec uses a tone ring built into the FW.

But far as my Ford manual says, everything is 35-1 except the V10, which is 39-1.

It does say that the Hz of the sensor will be slightly different at speed though ... but I'd suspect this is in part to the gearing differences,,, the Ford manual lists Hz at MPH and not RPM (which is what it really should be based on).

I really don't see it being that big of a deal to try atleast. Save quite a bit of trouble if I'm right.

dozens of things in the tune isnt the same

crank trigger
load
MAF counts every setting
knock sensor sensivity (every setting in the KS)
idle . dashpot every setting
Timing tables every setting
Fuel pump every setting
Open Loop / Closed loop every setting

Thousands of things would need to be changed , it would take Hrs

You basicly would have to rewrite the entire tune file to match a Zetec engine , I wouldnt want to tune this car using the SPI ECU

Eh, from what I've changed in my stock tune to where I am now that doesn't sound too bad. I've adjusted all that and more.
