I have a jrsc for my svt with a bbk. I have it for sale but am beginning to want to hold on to it for porting and lightweight rotors and steigmeier front drive cooling setup. The tuner i was talking to wont tune a jrsc due to its high iats. Sho who will tune a jrsc, who would you recommend and why? Ive heard a few negative things about tom, but idk why so if anyone has a real negative experience with him then tell me. I want to make sure its not just bs because you prefer another tuner.
Go with Tom, I have met him and he has been to my race garage at MSR Houston three times and i have been to his shop in NC. You will not find a better tell you how it is person. Some people do not like to be told they are wrong and Tom will tell you, that attitude has won two championships in a row for one of my cars. Go with Tom.[cheers]
if u have the time to datalog and stuff, MAYBE a couple days. thats not to say u cant drive the car in that period. datalogging will help dial in the tune to make it perfect.
i havent gotten a tune from tom.....yet, but am planning on it when i get my taxes back. had a couple dumb questions for him and he answered promptly. plus, u get free updates if u decide to do more bolt-ons or whatnot.
