absolutely useless.

The focus is not a vehicle that can be "chipped." It is electronically programmed through the OBDII port with a tuner like SCT or whatever else is available out there now.

what this supposed chip pretty much does is send a false reading from the airflow meter and make the car think it's colder than it really is and dumps more fuel.

deja vu

What Mike said. 100% worthless for any Ford newer than about 1993, or pretty much any vehicle that is.

Tried talking someone out of getting this they bought 2 at $60 a piece instead.
Once they received it I Measured it with a ohm meter and got nothing. I took it apart to confirm what I thought after reading install instructions. There is a chip soldered to a very small pcb however none of the conections are made from where the wires are soldered on the pcb to the chip itself. It does nothing, not even as much as able to make a complete electrical circuit. Even forgeting that aspect, the way you wire it would do nothing. It goes like this, you find your air temp signal wire and use a scotch lock to splice the positive in..... then 5 inches down you splice into the same wire with the negative. You dont even cut the wire to put it in series to change the signal, even if the chip was wired up right the way it installs would still do nothing.
