I knw toms ecu tun xcal is the best out there for a good price BUT how the h*ll do I get the tune inot my car? Do I plug my every day laptop up and run a program like that or something?

You have to purchase the tuner, then run the tune you buy from tom or FSwerks. and once you run that tune it will reprogram the ecu and you wont have to change anything until you get a new tune.

Hey so I'm trying to find a tuner to run the tune but I can't find nada on the net. Gaaah upgrading is such a pain inthe arse lol

The cost of the tune includes the XCAL3 tuning device, and it plugs in to Your OBDII plug, if I remember correctly. You will also want to look into getting a wideband air/fuel(A/F) gauge to help with fine tuning(not required, but highly recommended).

^the n/a tune does. When I bought his FI tune, I had to source my own. I wish he had a sticky with costs and what else is needed. I had a lot of down time waiting on stuff cause I didn't realize what I needed. Posted via FF Mobile

I believe a tune plus the XCAL3 tuner is $350 and it comes with everything needed to hook up to the car and load the tune. If you already have a tuner just the tune is much less but there can be issues with using already-used tuners.
