getting sct prp monday..

im hoping this is the magic bullet or as close as i can get to it. i have a ZX2 with a frpp head crower 2 cams je pistons eagle rods blah blah blah. at this point the important thing is the 24 pound injectors and 73mm MAF.

the car does start, but the idle is horrible. i am assuming it will improve a tad bit once i unplug the cam position sensor, as i have recently learned that a focus head swap on a ZX2 equates to: the ZX2 doesnt recognize the focus cps. dont know why, but its fact. but on the bright side, it doesnt matter.

i plan on using the prp in phases:

using narrow band to adjust the idle. no driving, just closed loop adjustment to get the car to idle properly for the changes in cams (.36x to .41x) throttle body (55mm to 65mm bbk) MAF (55mm to 73mm) and injectors (19lbs to 24lbs)

now theres no doubt this combo and similar has been done many times in the focus community. this is where i decide on the vendor (i have to admit, one has the leg up atm). can the maps and tables on a focus with similar mods be transfered for use on a ZX2 with a reasonably expectation of success? and yes i do realize that i may have to do it manually.

thanks in advance.

No you will have to do all the changes your self from scratch , you can start with a value file and that will help speed things up a bit but in most cases not even close to what your going to need when finished , But there are only ment to be a starting point

Me, I would loose the 73mm mass air it wont help but will take away from some driveability because the low rpm resolution wont be good at all , this in one case where bigger ISNT better , I wouldnt go over a 3 inch/70mm MAX

The cam sensor doesnt even need to be hooked up and has no effect on how the engine runs on the Focus and is only there on the ZX2 for the VCT controle
