anyone please help

ok guys heres my prob i just installed a tune from time which i have done many times the same way the tune went 100% and said it was installed u can now unplug my pred so i did then i went to start it and i have the dredded ------- on my odo. i dont think its the pats system because ford just told me that if it was the light next to my 4ways would be flashing very fash which it isnt its normal and when i turn key it goes off. right now the diablo tells me it cant read the car so im up for any ideas which i can do my self due to the fact i just got laidoff and now i have no car :(

I dont know anything about the tunes from tom but what u should do is ask him if he might know.

i have and hes been alot of help im just looking for any ideas before i spend money i dont have on an ecu if that just happens to be the prob i just find it wierd that everything whet fine and everyother time went perfect untill this and just 20mins before that it was running great when i data loged for him

is there any chance that i could have fried the ecu from just installing a tune? has anyone ever done or heard of this happening? also is it true that ford will replace the ecu if under 80k miles

yes the predator does this to SVTs from time to time. My friend has had it happen twice on the same car.

ok guys here is an update i just got off the phone with diablo and we force reset my back up and all is well car starts right up he said it could have been a number of things like something drew power while it was wrighting , the install just went bad or some how the tune file got curupted but he told me to load the tune back on and see what happens, so ill let you guys know how it goes

I'm glad Diablo can load a recovery program now, SCT has always had that capability but Diablo used to make you go to Ford and pay $120 each time.
