Installing a wide band guage

Is there a how-to sticky on installing a wide band guage? It'd be great to have in the future.

It's pretty simple. Install wide band O2 into exhaust, run cable into cabin to gauge, and then to 12v power and ground. Viola wide band. Now specific instructions dunno about those maybe somebody else can help on that.

From what I've seen the best place to put them is near the stock O2 sensor, but 90 or 180 degrees from it. it needs to have free flowing exhaust over it to get a good reading, and you don't want the stock O2 blocking the flow.

The hardest part of the install I had was routing the o2 data cable from the exhaust to the cabin to plug into the back of the gauge. Other than finding a good spot to drill, everything else was a piece of cake.

I'm looking into buying one also but the one im looking at has an option to buy a data logging output? And has digital wideband controller. I plan to put the wideband in the 3rd bung on my F2 header. Where thee o2 that tom's tune disables.

I HIGHLY recommend the AEM wideband. The install is really easy and it already has an analog output for datalogging
