Chip/Flash

Car:
2009 Focus SE auto 4 door Vista Blue

IM looking into the following Benefits from an ECU flash or chip.

1. Doesn't noticeably void the warranty.
2. Increased Fluid Pressure for the transmission during all shifts
3. Better Fuel economy
4. Allowing the Throttle Body to open to 100% at lower RPM's instead of at 4500RPM~
6. Better Performance.

Any ideas/recommendations? I understand i may have to purchase a Flasher but i have no idea where to start looking for one of those and which one would work for me car.

Thanks in advanced.

Your only option is the SCT tuner device and a custom tune. Focus Sport and Tom from Focus Power both sell the tuner and provide tuning.

......PSUrivie.....You work at GSFC? Building 32? Pretty sure I just solved my question to whos focus I see in the parking lot!

Tom,
Glad to know the price is not to bad for the flasher. I'm willing to chat in the forum about options and solutions unless you feel they should go through PM's.

I assume the xcal3 is capable of completing all of those items with your custom programming?

Do you recommend me getting anything else? this is my DD and i do about 70 miles a day, 50 miles high way, 20 miles traffic (yay Northern VA traffic).

I saw someone else mentioned i should get an a/f gauge. On my saturn i had to tap a new one into my down pipe, but would the new one just connect to the computer? Or are they not quite that advanced yet?
Im not really wanting to make anything to obvious that i "modify" my car, at least until the warranty is over (63k to go)

My wife also has a 2008 se focus, would the same programming work on hers' too? The main concern i have is that my car (09) has the ESP with TracCtrl and her car only has the TracCtrl and i have no idea if the different software flashes would mess with those systems.

Thanks again for the help.
