If I might add a little bit of info to your post:
I found this site on the IEEE1394 pin layout - http://pinouts.ru/Slots/ieee1394_pinout.shtml

It looks like it matches what you found in your multimeter checks, except the yellow is listed as orange on that site. But either way, it looks like a standard pinout for that type of cable that anyone can follow.

Good find. Should allow one to use a 6 pin cable with a 4, 6 or 9 pin cable end, as well.

I also found the SCT part number in another post, courtesy of Blivit, should one choose to buy the cable from SCT instead of making it: 9608

One other question I didn't see in the write-up:
When you're datalogging, what is the PID you choose for reading the wideband gauge?

You won't see a PID in the selection list for it because it's logged separately by the flasher i.e. not through the OBD II port.
In the data logs, it'll show up as ANALOG1 or ANALOG2, depending on which channel you chose to use.

Okay, thats what I thought, but I had Analog 1-4 as choices and I tried datalogging from each one and got numbers like 2.0 and .3367blahblahblah...my A/F Mix was 14-15 during this time. Does your's read the actual mix your gauge shows?

The 2.0 is your raw voltage. If you specify you are using an AEM wideband on the scanning device datalogging set up menu, a formula will be applied to the raw voltage "behind the scenes" to give the corect AFR. That formula isn't shown on the scanner but it is V*2 +10.
So the channel giving you 2.0V is likely the one with the proper signal since (2.0 X 2)+10 = 14. You've just missed the scanner "wideband set up" step from the looks of it.
