spark advance

well got in the car earlier today and fellt like datalogging to see what i got.
let the car warm up and started driving, i noticed the spark advance going up to 20 degrees advance and when i got on it it hit a peak of 37 degrees advance...

my question is shoud that be happening? what should it be if it isnt.

other facts: i have toms tune, iats were at about 50degrees and coolant was about 160-170ish.... i have the datalog saved if anyone wants to see it.

Was this at WOT or part throttle... I have seen over 40* of timing at part throttle... it also depends on rpm and load on the motor.

It isnt , learn what each thing mean that your datalogging , what they do , what changes them then if you have issues you can post with problems

Your timing isnt that high under WOT

took a look at the datalog some and it seemed that one of the times at wot, both the rpms and spark advanced climbed steadily, rpms peaked at 7400 and spark advance peaked right after between gears at 45.5 degrees and engine load was at 76
dont know what to make of it so if someone can chime in and give me ideas on what im looking at that would be great.

It isnt that easy to tell you what your looking at , there are dozens of factors that are calculated in to get the timing , if you want to learn more there are articals on line that go over things and SCT sells a book , it will take you a few weeks to get it all but its all in there
